WAMCARE ME/CFS Awareness Bracelet Campaign
We are excited to announce the arrival of our long-awaited Awareness Bracelet Campaign! Our bracelets have been hand-made by our Board Member Michelle. There are two types available - "stretchy" and "adjustable", both of which say "WAMCARE for ME CFS". They will be available for a donation of $5 USD (3 GBP) each.
Awareness Month Special! For a limited time you can get 5 bracelets for $15 USD (10 GBP) - Note: all must be sent to the same address.
Stretchy bracelets are strung on transparent beading elastic, and will fit over any hand and fall snug against the wrist. They are made with round letter beads and glass accent beads in blue, green and clear colours.
Adjustable bracelets are strung on blue raffia string, have bigger, square letter beads and plastic pony beads in a variety of colours. Some bracelets have only one colour - black, green, or white, and some have a variety of blue, green, white and black accent beads. These bracelets slide wide to fit your hand through and are easily pulled closed.
There are a limited number of bracelets available, so don't
wait to get yours! All proceeds go to WAMCARE and our ME/CFS Awareness efforts.
How to Order
- Make your donation. There's a donation button on the side-bar of each page of our website, or you can go to our Donate page. Paypal accepts all the major credit cards, or transfer funds directly from your own Paypal account. To make your donation via snail mail by cheque or money order, please email bracelets@wamcare.org for information.
- Email us with your order. Send an email to bracelets@wamcare.org - tell us how many bracelets you would like, and which types (Stretchy or Adjustable). Don't forget to include your mailing address and Paypal confirmation number. Please use a valid email address so we may contact you if there are any problems. Neither your email or your shipping address will be used for any other purpose and will be kept strictly private and confidential.
Please allow 2-4 weeks for your bracelet to be delivered. We ship them out from locations in the UK, Canada and the US, but they are available to anyone in the world. Each bracelet will arrive in a bubble-wrap envelop to protect it from damage during transport. If your bracelet arrives and it is not in perfect shape, please let us know by emailing bracelets@wamcare.org.
Our stretchy bracelets are made with 1mm transparent elastic and glued with professional jewellery epoxy, however, they are not indestructible. Please refrain from any excess stretching. If your bracelet breaks from abnormal stretching, we cannot replace it. However, it should be easy for you to restring the beads if the elastic does break. Our adjustable bracelets will not break unless they are cut.
Bracelets Are Limited!
Our crop of bracelets took Michelle a considerable number of hours to make. Future bracelet campaigns will depend on their popularity, so get yours while you can! Feel free to obtain several and pass them out. At this time we must limit the number of bracelets going to one address to 10, unless they are going to an ME/CFS support group or other ME/CFS gatherings.
